Amy Ruppel's illustrations have adorned snowboards, paperweights and wellies. Those are rain boots. It's a good thing, too. She'll need those boots in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. Her work has been shown widely in the Pacific Northwest and in galleries across the United States.
